Navigate to the Edit Campaign screen on the main Campaign screen for the campaign you wish to use this service for.
On the left hand side click on the Campaign Options heading and select "Configure Call Block Filter" in the drop down.
This feature allows the prevention of specific incoming callers from being able to dial the phone numbers within this campaign. This could be used to prevent telemarketers or spammers from being connected to the destination number, and also prevents these problem calls from showing up in this campaign’s reports, thus keeping the data more “clean”. Click Configure on the lower right part of the Edit Campaign screen to start setting this feature up.
To block certain incoming callers from being able to call through the Mongoose numbers within this campaign, enter in the ten digits of the number to be blocked and then click Add Call Blocking Filter, repeat for each number to be blocked.
Note that this option allows the entry of less than ten digits and will thus block any number that starts with the numbers entered. For example if just 216 is entered as a number, all calls from callers with an incoming caller ID from the 216 area code will be blocked. Or if 216920 is entered; only calls from caller IDs starting with 216-920 will be blocked. So be careful with these entries so legitimate callers do not get blocked.
The other two options on this screen allow the blocking of ALL calls from US-based phone numbers (for Canadian-based clients) or ALL calls which have a toll-free number as a caller ID.
Any rule at any time can be removed by clicking the “Remove” link next to the rule.
