A few things that you need to be aware of when doing testing on a tracking number:
- It takes 5-10 minutes after the destination number has been set for the actual tracking number to forward to your destination number.
- It takes almost 5 minutes after the call has been hung for the call to display in Data Insight > Calls.
To test a tracking number, place a call to the tracking number to ensure it is forwarding correctly. After the call rings several times and/or been answered, Mongoose Metrics logs the call into the Dashboard system.
To view the test call, go to "Data Insight" > "Calls".
From here you can see your test call that you placed.
