Mongoose Metrics undergoes a rigorous process in blocking and identifying spam calls across campaigns and accounts. All phone numbers undergo a rest period before and after Mongoose Metrics acquire them into our pool of numbers. After a toll-free number is assigned to a campaign, an algorithm determines whether the call is from a spammer based on the frequency and length of calls. Once a number is identified as a spammer, it will be prompted during a call to "press 1 to continue" to filter out automated messages. They may also hear "press 5 to continue" as well.
Mongoose Metrics allows customers to cancel phone numbers on 1:1 campaigns in the case of a bad number, etc.
After you log into your Mongoose Metrics account, click Manage Campaigns, and then on the right side of this screen click Edit for the campaign containing the bad number.
Then on this next screen, click the Campaign Options drop down menu and then select Manage Numbers.
Then here, next to the phone number to cancel, fill in the checkbox and click on tab labeled "Cancel Selected Trackable Numbers".
Confirm this is the correct tracking number to cancel and click "Yes, Confirm Cancellation".
Once the phone number is removed, a new one can be selected. From the Manage Campaigns screen, again click Edit next to the campaign you just removed the bad number from, and again click the Manage Numbers link within the Campaign Options drop down menu.
Here then click 'New Tollfree' or 'New Local' to select either respective phone number inventory.
Click the checkbox next to the number to purchase and click the "Request Local/Tollfree Numbers" button.
And then finally, confirm the addition of this new number.
